Goals

At the start of the school year in Mr. Currin’s class he asked us to write what our goals were in letter for our future self. Needless to say I thought I didn’t accomplish any goals, but I surprisingly did. I completed three of my goals. One of my goals was to get a job. Which I did! I even got two jobs. One at the Rec. Center and another at Green Fields. At the Rec. Center I’m the assistant to the director and at Green Fields I am a receptionist. Another goal of mine was to finally have my step shipped back to her mother, which it hasn’t happened yet but I know she’s leaving June 15th after her last exam here. My last goal was to get a car. Money wise I was nowhere near to getting a car. However, my mom had a surprise for me that I didn’t know about. When my grandma past away she had five hundred dollars set aside for me for graduation, and gave it to my mother before she passed away. My mom decided to pitch in an extra five hundred dollars and buy me a 1997 Saturn for my eighteenth birthday. Although I pay for my gas and insurance on the car. The goals I didn’t accomplish yet were to look at places to live, start saving money, and think of college course I would want to major in if I don’t like my apprenticeship. I'm glad I at least accomplished the major goals such as getting a car and a job.
